Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account email address (and name, if you sign in with Google).
• Garage sale listings you create: sale name, street address, dates and photos.
• Favourites, wishlist terms and reminders you save.
• Your device location, only while you are using the map and only if you allow the browser prompt. It is used to centre the map and is never stored on our servers.

Publishing your address

Garage sale listings are public. Before a listing is published you must tick the consent box confirming you understand the full street address, dates and photos will be visible to anyone using the app, including people who are not signed in. We record the moment you gave that consent. You can unpublish or delete a listing at any time from your dashboard, which removes it from the public map immediately.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your information at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your listings, photos, favourites, wishlist and reminders. Depending on where you live (for example under state privacy laws in the United States or PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws in Canada) you may have additional rights; we honour the same access and deletion requests for everyone.

Children

Treasure Trail is not intended for people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Service providers

We use Google Maps to display the map, convert addresses to map coordinates, and provide directions. Map interactions are subject to Google's own privacy terms.
